The gate was open and a sedan can make the 1.4 mi drive to the trailhead. The 0.7 mi hike to the summit was steep. Once in the activation zone, don&#8217;t be alarmed to see huge boulders looking to the summit. There was a short section of decomposed granite getting to the top, but once past all of this the summit opened up with a nice view of San Bernadino Valley below. There was cell service, but only at the summit.
