The starting point is actually a turn off of Henness Pass Road which is 5.5 mi from Jackson Meadows Resevoir. You\\’ll just need a 2wd medium clearance for Henness Pass Rd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once you turn onto the road, it\\’s very rocky, and a 10\\” clearance vehicle had no problem. I parked before the AZ but you can probably drive into the AZ if you don\\’t mind pinstripes on your car. There is a clearing where I parked, see GPX for exact location. From there is 103\\’ of elevation and 0.6 miles round trip. Huge activation area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
