This is an easy 5 mile RT hike with only 700 feet of gain.  It starts right from the General Sherman highway inside the Sequoia National Park.  Parking is pretty much on the side of the highway.  

I did this trek the day after it snowed the previous night and although the trail had one to two inches of snow on it, it was still pretty obvious.  The pictures where you can see other than mist are from KD8EQA who hiked it this month.  

This is a good one to double with W6/SS-314 - Buck Rock which is a drive-up just across the highway.  I loved this hike. See Buck Rock Trip Report HERE.
