SoCal had a visitor today, Thomas K4SWL, who was in town to record a YouTube video with Mark KD7DTS and Ara N6ARA. This gave us an opportunity to activate when we knew there would be a lot of radio activity. But with the weather in the mid-90s, we opted for a double drive-up near Santa Barbara (the second was W6/SC-124 3620). The route is on a well maintained asphalt road. It is a winding road so watch for cyclists. The 40 mi I listed is the loop drive from Hwy 101. You can activate at the road, so no hiking required. Read our full report at RadioAndRides.com.
