The starting point is actually a turn off of Henness Pass Road which is 5.5 mi from Jackson Meadows Resevoir. You\'ll just need a 2wd medium clearance for Henness Pass Rd.

Once you turn onto the road, it\'s very rocky, and a 10\" clearance vehicle had no problem. I parked before the AZ but you can probably drive into the AZ if you don\'t mind pinstripes on your car. There is a clearing where I parked, see GPX for exact location. From there is 103\' of elevation and 0.6 miles round trip. Huge activation area.
