Reported Road Closures
Many FS roads are closed November - May. Check for updates as part of your trip planning.
Enroute to W6/CT-158 4020, there is a road closure at Bear Divide, off of Little Tujunga Canyon. The drive to the fire camp and summit is open. Access to this summit from Sand Canyon, is not possible.
Cerro Noreste Rd. Closed 11/15/2025 for the season.
Jawbone Canyon Rd to Hwy 14. Closed 9/19/2025 due to flooding (Piute Mountain area)
Gate to Magic Mountain is closed for the season at Bear Divide, 30-Nov-2025
Los Padres seasonal closures include Grade Valley Road (to San Guillermo and Thorn Point) and Frazier Mountain road at Chuchupate. Check back May 1.

Area closures
Eaton Cayon Fire Closures
The Forest Service extended the Eaton Fire closure through the end of 2027!. Occidental Peak is in the closure area, see modified map can be found here. Early 2026 the closure area was slightly reduced, and San Gabriel Peak is now accessible.
