Get on a summit, spot yourself, and work other ham stations around the world.

Chase Others On A Summit

Contact activators from a summit, home or any other location. It's fantastic fun to work activators on mountaintops. Look at spots on Sota Watch or SOTLAS and try to work a station sitting on a peak trying to balance radio, key, logbook using a compromised antenna.

2026 2m Challenge

Join the fun

The 2026 SOTA 2m challenge is on. Hone your 2m skills and gear and join the fun while chasing or activating. Work as many SOTA ops on 2m via SSB or CW for max distance to slay the friendly competition. Read more about the 2m challenge via the link below.

W6 S2S Madness

We came up with this as a way to improve distance for 2m SSB contacts as part of the 2026 2m Challenge.

One of the big multipliers for the challenge is 2m ssb or CW distance. We've found that height really helps and what better way than to get on a summit and chase others on a summit or try to get them from home.

SoCal Summer SOTAFest 2026

Looking for a fun campout and a bunch of SOTA, join other hams at the next SoCal Summer SotaFest at Cerro Noreste campground. August 7 - 9th, 2026.

SOTA campouts are a fun way for chasers and activators to get together and exchange info on gear, fun summits, equipment builds and just meet new friends.

There will be lots of activating on the surrounding summits, s2s contacts and some chasing from camp. For more info, go HERE.
