Friday, July 25, 2025.  Banner Ridge is the highest point in the Benton Range. After a 2-mile drive on a dirt road, we parked the car at 37.70373, -118.57322, then did a 1 mi cross-country hike to the summit.  This was a very nice hike but with a rocky summit. The Bishop repeaters can be used to stir up 2m/FM contacts on 146.52 MHz. (See repeater list, below.)
