This summit only recently opened again, as it was closed following the Eaton Canyon Fire, January 7, 2025. It reopened January 1, 2026. We are so happy to hike this one again.

There are two routes to this peak: one leaves from Red Box parking lot, the other from Eaton Saddle. They are both very nice hikes, but we prefer to start at Red Box. This route has some nice shade trees.
