This is a popular hike -- as it is the route to the Hollywood Sign viewpoint, another 0.3 mi from the summit. It is a steep 1-mile hike ascent with rock-steps most of the way up. There are nice views of Hollywood Reservoir and Warner Brother's back lot. The full trip report is here:
