Getting to the trailhead can be a challenge some years. Bring your AWD and some clearance.

This is a well used tail and has some awesome views. The AZ is RF quiet and has an enjoyable view to the east. If the road is open, drive over to W6/CT-133, Red Mountain for another 4 points and make it a 10 point day.
