Hwy 2 is currently closed at Islip Saddle, but this is the trailhead to either Mount Islip to the southeast, or Mount Williamson to the northwest. Route is on the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail); it is fun to encounter and chat with these through-hikers in the spring.
