This is an easy, near drive-up peak. Seasonally the gate at CA-330 at Keller Peak Road is open. This is then a 7.4 mi RT, 2105 ft ascent along a well maintained asphalt road. When we arrived, the gate about a mile from the summit was closed, so we made the short hike to the top. Sadly, the fire lookout tower burnt on September 10, 2024 during the Line fire.
