Seasonally (May-Oct) the gate at the Santa Clara Divide road (3N17) at Hwy 2 is open. It is then a 5 mi one way drive, including the turn onto 5N04, to a second gate which was closed when we arrived. Parking here, it is a 0.75 mi hike to a firebreak, then follow this to the summit. This is a steep hike.
