The first part of this hike was along a nice foot-path, passing through an Oak Grove, then with views into La Crescenta. The second half was along a Forest Service road, exposed to the sun. At the summit we reached Paolo K1PAP on our 2m HT, doing his first activation on Waterman Mountain. We also reached Mike K6STR and Lorene W6LOR, who had accompanied him. A nice hike and successful activation for both groups on separate peaks but within view of each other in the San Gabriel Mountains.
