This is a completely paved drive-up located in the Los Padres National forest. You can actually setup in one of the camp sites if one is available. Cerro Noreste hosts a large number of individual camp sites and large group camp areas. It was the site of the 2026 SOTAFest held in August.

I think camp site 15 begins the AZ but a 100 yard walk through the forest bring you to the actual summit. It has good 2m access into LA area, and I worked San Diego on 2m as well. Lots of fun, very relaxing.
