This summit is a full drive up because Pinoli Ridge road goes right through the AZ. You'll take Hennis pass road up to and across the dam at Jackson Meadows Reservoir. Just after the dam look for the right turn on Pinoli Ridge Road.
A 2wd vehicle should make it but if it's muddy, you'll want AWD and medium clearance because it looks like there are some good dust to mud traps in there.
When you get near the summit, continue on the road to the highest point and you are in the AZ. There is a great place to park right there. If you want, you can walk or drive a very short way near the actual summit.
There are some epic views from this one and I enjoyed running QRO into a vertical.
On your way back to camp, go hit Findlay Peak, the hike is an easy road hike of about 3.4 mi round trip.
All driving referenced for this trip was done with Margaret, my Subaru OBW.
Road conditions can change after winter snow melt and heavy rains so be warned.
