Wednesday, July 16, 2025.  This summit was 30 minutes from Troy Meadows Campground.  From Sherman Pass Road turn south onto Boone Mountain Road at 36.02016, -118.33233, then follow a dirt road approximately 0.7 mi to where we parked at 36.01231, -118.32645. We then hiked 1.1 mi to the summit. Confident mountain bikers could ride to within 0.1 mi of the summit.

Section where turn off of Boone Mountain Road could be done on a mountain bike, until the last 0.2 mi
